Patient Education

Aftercare is an integral component of your treatment at Rani Beauty Clinic in Renton, WA. Patients who follow aftercare diligently consistently achieve better outcomes.

Every aesthetic treatment creates a controlled response that the body heals and remodels. Aftercare instructions optimize this healing response. Ignoring them can impair results or create complications.

Post-treatment skin is temporarily vulnerable. The barrier may be compromised. Treated areas may be prone to hyperpigmentation from UV. Inflammatory healing processes can be disrupted by inappropriate activities or products.

Sun protection after treatment is universally critical. UV during healing can cause permanent hyperpigmentation, especially after peels, laser, and microneedling. SPF 30 or higher during healing is non-negotiable.

Activity restrictions exist for specific reasons. Avoiding exercise after injectables prevents product migration and bruising. Avoiding heat after energy treatments prevents excessive inflammation.

Product restrictions protect healing skin. After barrier-compromising treatments, discontinue retinoids, vitamin C, and acids temporarily. Your clinician provides specific reintroduction timelines.

Hydration supports healing. Drink more water than usual and apply hydrating, barrier-supporting products.

Sleep supports healing through growth hormone release. Prioritize seven to nine hours in the days following treatment.

Communication with your provider is essential if anything seems unexpected. Early intervention for any concern produces better outcomes than waiting.

At Rani Beauty Clinic, every patient receives detailed written aftercare instructions and direct contact information for questions during healing.
