Botox plus filler - the foundation combo: This is the most common combination in aesthetic medicine, and for good reason. Sofwave plus RF microneedling: For patients with both skin laxity and texture concerns, this combination is powerful. Sofwave works at 1.5mm depth for broad-area tightening and lifting, while RF microneedling targets specific texture, scar, and pore concerns at adjustable depths. The two treatments stimulate collagen through different mechanisms and at different tissue levels, producing comprehensive improvement.
HydraFacial plus chemical peel: For patients who want intensive skin renewal, a HydraFacial performed before a light chemical peel prepares the skin by deep cleaning and extracting impurities. The clean, exfoliated skin then receives the peel more evenly, producing better results than a peel on unprepared skin. This combination is excellent for dull, congested skin that needs a reset.
Botox plus Sofwave: For patients concerned about forehead lines, this combination addresses both the cause and the effect. Botox relaxes the frontalis muscle to reduce ongoing line formation, while Sofwave tightens the overlying skin that has lost elasticity. The result is smoother forehead skin that stays smooth between Botox treatments.
Filler plus skincare prescription: Volume restoration with filler creates the structural improvement, but the overlying skin quality determines how natural and beautiful the result looks. Prescription tretinoin improves the skin texture, tone, and luminosity that make filler results look their best. I recommend starting tretinoin at least a month before filler treatment so the skin is already improving when the volume is restored.
