Botox & Injectables

Getting Botox for the first time can feel intimidating, but knowing what to expect makes the experience much easier. At Rani Beauty Clinic, first-time patients consistently tell us the process was simpler and more comfortable than they imagined.

Your appointment begins with a consultation where Dr. Landfield or your clinician examines your facial muscles, discusses your concerns, and recommends a treatment plan. We take a conservative approach with first-time patients, starting with moderate dosing to deliver natural-looking results. You can always add more at a follow-up, but you cannot take away what has been injected.

The actual injection takes about 10-15 minutes. Ultra-fine needles are used, and most patients describe the sensation as a brief pinch. No numbing cream is typically needed, though we can apply ice if preferred. Common first-time treatment areas include forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, and crow's feet.

Results begin to appear within 3-5 days, with full effect at 10-14 days. You may feel a slight heaviness in the treated area for a day or two as the product takes effect. Avoid rubbing the area, stay upright for 4 hours, and skip intense exercise for 24 hours after treatment.

Common Questions

First-time patients typically start with conservative dosing — around 20-30 units for forehead and frown lines combined. We can add more at a 2-week follow-up if desired. Starting conservatively ensures natural results.

First treatments may seem to wear off faster for some patients, typically lasting 2-3 months instead of 3-4. With consistent treatment, results often last progressively longer as the muscles weaken over time.

Good Botox should be undetectable. Our conservative approach preserves natural facial expressions while smoothing wrinkles. The goal is for people to notice you look refreshed, not that you had a procedure.
