Vacation destinations demand skin that performs under challenging conditions: intense sun, salt water, pool chemicals, and humidity changes that test your skin's resilience. At Rani Beauty Clinic in Renton, WA, we prepare patients for vacation with treatments that build both radiance and resilience.

Four weeks before departure: HydraFacial to deep-clean, hydrate, and establish a radiant baseline. Begin or increase SPF application to prepare for higher UV exposure. Start laser hair removal sessions if smooth skin is part of your vacation vision.

Two weeks before: Second HydraFacial with brightening focus for maximum pre-vacation glow. Botox if desired, which will reach full effect by departure.

One week before: Final hydration boost with sheet masking. Prepare your travel skincare kit with SPF 50, gentle cleanser, hydrating serum, moisturizer, and after-sun product.

During vacation: Maintain SPF 50 application and reapplication every two hours. Cleanse thoroughly each evening to remove sunscreen, sweat, and environmental debris. Apply hydrating serum and moisturizer nightly.

Post-vacation: Schedule a recovery HydraFacial within a week of return to address any sun-related changes, travel dehydration, and environmental buildup.

At Rani Beauty Clinic, vacation preparation is about both looking great during your trip and protecting your skin investment from the challenging conditions that vacation destinations present.

Common Questions

Four weeks before is ideal for comprehensive preparation. Two weeks allows for meaningful improvement with HydraFacial and Botox. At minimum, increase SPF application two weeks before traveling to a sunny destination.

SPF 50 broad-spectrum sunscreen in sufficient quantity for generous, frequent application. Pack enough for full face and body application with reapplication every two hours. Sun protection prevents more vacation damage than any other product.

No. There is no safe tan. Pre-trip tanning causes DNA damage without meaningful protection. If you want color, use a quality self-tanner applied after thorough exfoliation for a safe, even result.
