Your wedding day is one of the most photographed days of your life, and at Rani Beauty Clinic in Renton, WA, we help brides (and grooms) create a timeline that ensures their skin looks absolutely radiant for the occasion. The key is starting early and building gradually.

Twelve months before: This is when the foundation begins. Start a daily skincare routine with a gentle cleanser, vitamin C serum, moisturizer, and SPF 30 sunscreen. If you are not already using retinol or prescription tretinoin, this is the ideal time to start. Twelve months allows your skin to fully adjust and benefit from retinoid therapy. Schedule a consultation at Rani Beauty Clinic to discuss your wedding beauty goals and create your personalized timeline.

Nine to twelve months before: Begin your professional treatment series. If RF microneedling, laser treatments, or chemical peels are part of your plan, this is when to start the series. These treatments require multiple sessions spaced weeks apart, and the collagen building results develop over months. Starting now ensures your series is complete well before the wedding with full results visible.

Six months before: If Sofwave skin tightening is in your plan, this is the ideal treatment window. Results from Sofwave peak at approximately six months, meaning treatment now produces your best results on your wedding day. Continue monthly HydraFacials for consistent skin maintenance and glow.

Four months before: First Botox treatment if you are new to Botox. Starting at four months gives you time for a full treatment cycle plus a follow-up treatment before the wedding. This way you know exactly how your face responds, and your provider can fine-tune the dosing for your wedding treatment.

Three months before: If filler is part of your plan, this is the ideal time for initial filler treatment. Three months allows full settling, any touch-ups, and ensures there is no risk of swelling or bruising near the wedding date. Treat the areas that will make the biggest impact in photos: cheeks for contour and light reflection, under-eyes for fresh and bright appearance, and lips for balance and fullness.

Two months before: Second Botox treatment (or first follow-up if needed). Filler touch-up appointment if any adjustment is needed from the three-month treatment. Continue monthly HydraFacials. Finalize your skincare routine and do not introduce any new products from this point forward.

One month before: Your skin should be looking its best at this point. No new treatments that could cause unexpected reactions. Continue your established routine. Last chance for a gentle chemical peel or mild treatment if needed, but nothing aggressive. This month is about maintenance, not experimentation.

Two weeks before: Final Botox touch-up if needed to ensure you are at peak smoothness for the big day. This timing ensures full effect by your wedding date. No filler treatments from this point forward - the risk of swelling or bruising is not worth it this close to the event.

One week before: Last chance for a HydraFacial or gentle facial. This treatment provides the fresh, hydrated glow that photographs beautifully. Do not try any new products, treatments, or skincare techniques this close to your wedding.

Two to three days before: Final HydraFacial for peak glow. This is the treatment that will make your skin look plump, hydrated, and luminous for your ceremony and reception. Many of our brides schedule this as their very last pre-wedding self-care appointment.

Day of: Your skin is prepared, glowing, and ready. Your makeup artist will have a flawless canvas to work with. The months of preparation culminate in skin that looks healthy, radiant, and naturally beautiful in every photo.

For grooms: The same timeline applies in a simplified version. Monthly HydraFacials starting six months out, Botox if desired starting four months before, and a final HydraFacial three days before the wedding produces a well-groomed, refreshed appearance without any detectable treatment.
