Preventative Botox has become increasingly popular among patients in their mid-20s to early 30s. The concept is straightforward: by relaxing muscles before deep wrinkles form, you can prevent those lines from ever becoming etched into the skin.
The logic is sound. Dynamic wrinkles (caused by muscle movement) eventually become static wrinkles (visible even at rest). Once lines become static, they require more aggressive treatment — often both Botox and fillers. Starting Botox early keeps wrinkles in the dynamic stage, where they are easier and less expensive to manage.
The ideal time to consider preventative Botox is when you first notice lines forming at rest — that is, when wrinkles are starting to linger even when your face is relaxed. For many people, this happens in the late 20s to early 30s, typically in the forehead and between the brows.
Preventative patients typically need lower doses than older patients treating established wrinkles, making early treatment both effective and cost-efficient. At Rani Beauty Clinic, we use micro-dosing techniques that maintain complete natural expression while preventing wrinkle formation.
