Give symptoms a diagnostic context
Symptoms such as fatigue or weight change can have several explanations. A thyroid diagnosis cannot be made from symptoms alone. Compare formulation, benefits and individual risks

FDA distinguishes approved hormone medicines from compounded bioidentical products; compounded products are not FDA-approved, and bioidentical does not establish greater safety or effectiveness. Review the current label and alternatives with the prescriber. Discuss the proposed product’s benefits and risks for your own history.
Ask what each thyroid test would clarify
A TSH result helps assess thyroid function, but it does not explain every abnormal result by itself. Ask how the result relates to your history and whether another test is needed for a specific diagnostic reason. Request an explanation of the proposed treatment goal and how response would be assessed. Keep any test list and prescription instructions with your own written plan rather than using a general optimization target.
Confirm collection, results review and all charges
Call the clinic to clarify the appropriate assessment or an existing-order arrangement before planning laboratory work. Confirm where collection would occur, which tests are actually ordered, who receives and interprets the report, and how you can obtain a copy. Request the assessment, collection, outside laboratory and review charges together. An online guide cannot confirm an on-site draw, included panel or turnaround. Agree on review points and a complete quote
The current menu lists a Hormone Therapy Consultation at $149 per appointment. Women’s and men’s hormone programs are each $249–349 per month; the couples option is $549 per month. Each person needs an individual plan. Ask what determines the quoted amount and which medication, visits, tests and other items are included. Review deposit, cancellation and later-visit terms before paying. A consultation is an assessment, not a promise of a prescription or immediate treatment.
Know the review contact before starting
Review the proposed product’s warnings, benefits and risks with the prescriber. Confirm the review contact and after-hours arrangements. Urgent concerns need appropriate care; monitoring cannot guarantee safety.
