AI Skin Analysis
See your skin like never before. Our AI-powered skin analysis technology captures detailed images of your skin's surface and subsurface conditions — revealing hidden sun damage, early signs of aging, and pigmentation irregularities invisible to the naked eye. This data-driven approach ensures that every treatment we recommend is precisely targeted to your skin's real needs.
What Is AI Skin Analysis?
How It Works
Image Capture
You sit in front of the AI imaging system, which captures high-resolution photographs of your skin from multiple angles using standardized lighting conditions. Different imaging modes — including standard light, UV light, and polarized light — reveal different aspects of your skin's condition, from surface texture to deep pigmentation and vascular patterns. The entire capture process takes approximately 5–10 minutes.
AI Analysis & Scoring
The AI software processes your images using advanced algorithms trained on a database of thousands of skin images. It evaluates your skin across multiple parameters — including wrinkles, texture, pores, pigmentation, UV damage, redness, and bacterial activity — and generates a quantified score for each. Your results are compared against a database to benchmark your skin's age relative to your chronological age.
Clinical Review & Interpretation
Your clinician reviews the AI analysis results with you on-screen, walking you through each finding and explaining what it means for your skin health. The imaging reveals not just current visible concerns, but emerging issues — such as subsurface sun damage that will appear on the surface in the coming months or years. This predictive insight allows us to intervene proactively.
Personalized Treatment Plan Design
Using the objective data from your AI analysis, your clinician designs a customized treatment plan that targets your skin's specific, measurable needs. For example, if the analysis reveals significant subsurface UV damage and early collagen loss, the plan might prioritize chemical peels and RF microneedling. If bacterial activity and congestion are the primary findings, a laser acne facial and HydraFacial protocol may be recommended. This data-driven approach ensures that you invest in the treatments that will make the biggest impact on your unique skin.
Who Is It For?
- Anyone who wants an objective, data-driven understanding of their skin's health and needs
- New clients beginning their skincare journey who want to start with a comprehensive baseline
- Individuals who have tried multiple treatments or products without satisfactory results
- Those interested in preventative skincare — identifying and addressing early signs of damage before they become visible
- Clients who want to objectively track and measure the results of their treatments over time
- Anyone curious about their skin's biological age compared to their chronological age
- People with complex or multi-factorial skin concerns who need a targeted treatment plan
- Skincare enthusiasts who want to make informed, data-backed decisions about their treatment investments
What to Expect
Before
Arrive with a completely clean, bare face — no makeup, sunscreen, moisturizer, or skincare products. This ensures the imaging system captures an accurate representation of your skin without any product interference. If you typically wear makeup, bring your products with you to reapply after the analysis. No other preparation is needed.
During
The AI skin analysis session takes approximately 20–30 minutes total, including image capture and results review with your clinician. The imaging itself is completely non-invasive — no touching, no products, and no discomfort. You simply sit still while the system captures images. The AI processes the data in real time, and your clinician will review the results with you immediately after, explaining each finding and answering your questions. This is a collaborative, educational experience — we want you to understand your skin at the deepest level.
After
You will receive a copy of your AI skin analysis report, which serves as your personalized skin health baseline. Your clinician will provide treatment recommendations based on the analysis findings, and you can schedule your first treatment immediately or take time to consider the plan. There is no downtime, discomfort, or side effects from the analysis itself. We recommend repeating the AI analysis every 3–6 months to track your progress and optimize your treatment plan over time.
Results & Recovery
The AI skin analysis itself does not change your skin — it is a diagnostic and planning tool. The value lies in the actionable insights it provides. By identifying your skin's specific, measurable needs, the analysis enables us to design a treatment plan that is far more targeted and effective than a plan based on visual assessment alone. Over time, repeat analyses provide objective, quantified evidence of your skin's improvement — allowing you to see the measurable ROI of your treatments. Many clients find this data-driven approach both motivating and reassuring, as it confirms that their treatments are working and guides ongoing optimization of their skincare strategy.

Frequently Asked Questions
How accurate is AI skin analysis?+
Modern AI skin analysis systems are remarkably accurate for detecting and quantifying skin parameters such as wrinkle depth, pore size, pigmentation, and UV damage. The AI algorithms are trained on extensive databases of skin images and produce consistent, reproducible results — eliminating the subjectivity inherent in visual assessment. However, AI analysis is a diagnostic tool, not a substitute for clinical judgment. At Rani Beauty Clinic, your clinician and Medical Director interpret the AI data within the broader context of your skin type, medical history, and goals, ensuring that treatment recommendations are both data-informed and clinically appropriate.
Can AI skin analysis detect skin cancer?+
Our AI skin analysis system is designed for cosmetic skin assessment — evaluating parameters like wrinkles, pores, pigmentation, and UV damage for aesthetic treatment planning. It is not a medical diagnostic device for skin cancer screening. If during your analysis or at any point we observe any suspicious lesions, moles, or changes in your skin, we will recommend that you see a board-certified dermatologist for a medical evaluation. Early detection of skin abnormalities is important, and we are always vigilant about referring clients for appropriate medical follow-up when warranted.
How often should I get an AI skin analysis?+
We recommend an initial baseline analysis when you first begin your treatment journey at Rani Beauty Clinic, followed by repeat analyses every 3–6 months to track your progress. More frequent analyses may be valuable during active treatment phases (e.g., when undergoing a series of chemical peels or RF microneedling) to objectively measure improvement and fine-tune your treatment plan. Many clients enjoy seeing the side-by-side comparison of their before-and-after analysis results, as it provides concrete, visual evidence of their skin's improvement.
What does the analysis report include?+
Your AI skin analysis report includes high-resolution images of your skin captured under multiple lighting modes, along with quantified scores for each skin parameter assessed — typically including wrinkle depth and count, pore size and density, skin texture, pigmentation uniformity, UV damage (subsurface and surface), redness and vascular patterns, and overall skin age. Each parameter is scored and benchmarked, allowing you and your clinician to identify your skin's strongest areas and its most significant opportunities for improvement. The report also serves as a baseline for future comparison.
Is AI skin analysis included with my treatment?+
A monthly AI Skin Scan is included with all Angel Glow Up membership tiers (HALO at $199/mo, GLOW at $399/mo, and ELITE AURA at $599/mo). It is also included as part of your initial consultation for many treatment programs. Our New Client Welcome Bundle ($99) includes an Express HydraFacial, consultation, and $50 off your first treatment. Contact us at (425) 539-4440 to learn about our current offers.
Do I need to remove my makeup for the analysis?+
Yes, it is essential that you arrive with a completely clean, bare face for an accurate analysis. Makeup, sunscreen, moisturizer, and other skincare products can interfere with the imaging system and produce inaccurate readings. If you prefer, you can bring your makeup and skincare products to reapply after the analysis session. Alternatively, if you arrive wearing makeup, we can provide a gentle cleanser to help you prepare for the analysis.
